Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at POD IT Services. As a key member of our business development department, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and success of our software services business.

Responsibilities:

Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients, industries, and trends.

Lead Generation: Generate and nurture leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and networking events.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying upselling opportunities.

Sales and Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals through effective sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.

Networking: Build a network of industry contacts, attend conferences, and participate in industry events to identify new opportunities.

Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team and other departments to ensure the successful delivery of services to clients.

Reporting and Analysis: Keep track of sales activities, analyse performance metrics, and provide regular reports to the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of proven experience as a Business Development Executive in the software services industry.
  • Must have experience to bid and close deals at various outsourcing websites – Upwork, Guru, Freelancer etc
  • Strong understanding of software services and technology trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: ₹300,000.00 – ₹10,00,000.00 per year
